Project overview
The redevelopment of 40 Broadway is situated within the Broadway and Christchurch Gardens Conservation Area and will offer a variety of Grade A office space from the basement to the eighth floor, together with a ground floor café, roof terraces on the majority of floors, and a communal roof terrace with exceptional views across St James’ Park, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament.
SEC work package
Our scope encompassed the design, manufacture and delivery to site of carpentry, joinery and washrooms. Our works package was crafted to the highest standards, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic appeal, in line with the project's commitment to quality and design excellence, including:
CARPENTRY: Door sets including door leaves, frames and architraves, ironmongery to door sets, skirting, stainless steel black skirting.
JOINERY: timber veneer wall lining systems including support frame. SEC installed bespoke 5.5m height curved timber panelling feature wall to the ground floor reception area, ironmongery, skirtings, bespoke bench seating, tea point, storage wall, oak wall panelling, timber slat wall with acoustic panelling.
WASHROOMS: Heated lockers including bespoke elements, veneered and timber wall panels above locker. Walk in doors for showers. Bespoke mirrored bathroom cabinets, high end bathroom fixtures and fittings.

Our involvement in the 40 Broadway project underscores our capability to deliver high-quality carpentry and joinery solutions. By collaborating closely with RED Construction and Tellon Capital we contributed to the creation of a high-specification, wellbeing led office space in London’s Westminster.
SEC works package for this project consisted of extensive high-quality joinery, carpentry, washrooms and all statutory signage from design to manufacture and installation.
