Project overview
Barking Riverside is a development bringing housing, community facilities, amenities, transport links and green spaces to East London. The development is delivered by master developer Barking Riverside Limited, a joint venture between the Mayor of London and L&Q. Once completed, Barking Riverside will deliver over 10,000 homes. In this phase, L&Q have delivered 450 homes including private and affordable properties; townhouses and apartments.
SEC work package
SEC are proud to have delivered first and second fix carpentry and joinery to all 450 units of this large residential scheme for L&Q. Our package includes floors, truss roofs and staircases to all 44 townhouses, as well as staircases to 35 duplex apartments.
Second fix carpentry and joinery items include doorsets, skirtings and architraves in addition to portico wardrobes to bedrooms and Armari vanity shelves, mirrors and bath panels to bathrooms. Our final fix carpentry included internal and external signage. We also supplied and installed post-boxes to communal areas.
First, second and final fix carpentry to 44 townhouses and 400 apartments including flooring, doorsets, roofing and staircases.
SEC site team performed very well and integrated well with the L&Q site team and other supply partners. Always willing to help and proactive with on site solutions and helping out with off site projects for the local community.
