Firstly, the beautiful heritage screen which we removed and held in storage for 3 years before being transported to NWC in Swindon to be repaired, stripped, soda blasted (a gentler technique) and lacquered and primed before being reinstalled into its original position by SEC. The screen is now a statement feature of the Buckingham Gate Lobby.
Secondly, the fabulous Cupula which was architecturally designed to replicate the original. We project managed the process for the Cupula to be constructed by fibre glass company, Design & Display. A GRP product to create the external shape. The external copper was then manufactured to design and coats the Cupula beautifully. When fitted it was a typical copper colour and as it has weathered it has taken on the lovely turquoise colour it is today.
Lastly, the traditional Dormers that we have custom made for this project and installation by SEC in addition to the framework of the timber
